Research Scholarships

 

Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand (CSANZ) Research
Scholarships

CSANZ scholarships are to undertake a period of training in research
under the full-time supervision of a nominated responsible investigator;
for research into cardiovascular disease and related; applicants must be
a member of CSANZ and be a permanent resident of Australia or New
Zealand; value to equal that of the NHMRC Postgraduate Scholarship; up
to one year.

Overseas Scholarships

 

Frank Knox Memorial Fellowships to Harvard University 2011

Frank Knox Fellowships are available to enable up to three (3) students
from Australia to undertake postgraduate study at Harvard University in
the US academic year 2011-2012; applicants must be Australian citizens,
normally resident in Australia; covers tuition fee and health insurance
fees plus a stipend of US $24,000 to cover a 10-month academic year; up
to two years.

Gowrie Trust Fund Research Scholarship 2011


Applications are invited from graduates or final year students who are
members of the Forces, children, grandchildren or other lineal
descendants of members of the forces who saw active service for
Australia in WWII; tenable for up to two years at universities or other
recognised research establishments either in Australia or overseas; one
scholarship at $4,000pa for a period of two years. 

Closing Date: 13 October 2010

 

Other Scholarships

 

Australian Podiatry Education and Research Foundation Research Grants 

The Australian Podiatry Education and Research Foundation provides
financial support for projects that are focussed on the causes,
assessment, diagnosis, outcomes and management of foot and related
problems; applications are open to interested researchers, including
graduate students; grants are up to $5,000 for novice researchers.
