REMINDERS:

 

VCRS & UPA 2009 Semester 2 Scholarships


Open to applicants who wish to commence a full-time Research Masters or
Research Doctorate degree at the University of Sydney in 2009 Semester
2; students who have already enrolled in a research degree at USYD are
not eligible to apply; applicants must be Australian citizens, New
Zealand citizens or have been granted permanent resident status in
Australia by 12 June 2009.

Fulbright Scholarships

Applications are now invited for Fulbright Postgraduate Scholarships;
scholarships are for study in the United States during the period 1 July
2010 and 30 June 2011; applicants must be Australian citizens.

Postgraduate Scholarship on Grid-Connected Power Electronics System for
Photovoltaic Modules   

A scholarship is on offer which will provide support on a full-time
basis for a research project leading to a PhD; the objective of the
research is to analyze, design and experiment with new high-efficient
and hot-swappable grid-connected power electronics systems for
photovoltaic modules for future practical use; applicants should have an
Honours 1 or 2A degree in electrical engineering or electronic
engineering; local and international students can apply but the
scholarship does not cover any tuition fees payable by international
students; $23,000pa; up to three years; a school top-up scholarship of
$7,000pa is available.

Leukaemia Foundation PhD Scholarships 2009

The Leukaemia Foundation provides support for the educational and
professional development of researchers and other professionals
undertaking a PhD in a field relevant to leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma
or related blood disorders; PhD Scholarships have a total value of
$40,000; up to 1 year;  applications are invited from Australian
citizens and permanent residents or those able to demonstrate
eligibility to enroll at an Australian institution.

Closing Date: 19 September 2008

 

Overseas Scholarships

The General Sir John Monash Awards 2010

General Sir John Monash Awards recognise academic excellence and
leadership; awarded to Australian citizens graduating from Australian
Universities to enable them to undertake postgraduate study abroad to
gain a higher degree;  covers an unlimited range of academic fields;
valued up to AUD $150,000; over 3 years.
