Postgraduate Scholarship in Children's Event Memory
A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably
qualified candidate to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in
the area of recall accuracy and suggestibility in children's event
memory; applicants should have a first class or high second class
honours degree (or equivalent) in Psychology; international students may
apply, but the scholarship does not cover any tuition fees payable by
international students; $20,427pa; up to three years.

Postgraduate Research Scholarship in Iridoviruses in the Murray Darling
Basin
Applications are invited for an exciting opportunity to conduct research
into viral diseases of fish in the Murray Darling river system, leading
to a PhD in epidemiology and infectious diseases; applicants must have
an honours degree in Veterinary Science, Science or equivalent and an
interest in microbial diseases; applicants should be Australian
citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens;
$25,000pa; up to three years.

Australian Postgraduate Award (Industry) on Psychological Debriefing
PLEASE NOTE: these scholarships are conditional on the University
signing an agreement with the Partner Organisation named in the grant.
Two scholarships are funded by an ARC Linkage Projects grant and will
each provide support for a research project leading to a PhD; the
objectives of the research project are to 1) develop an effective PTSD
intervention for emergency service personnel and 2) ensure that the new
intervention also preserves the integrity of the memories; applicants
should have an Honours 1 or 2A degree in Psychology; applicants must be
Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, or New Zealand
citizens; $26,669pa; up to three years.

R.W. McKenzie Supplementary Scholarship in Aeronautical Science and
Technology
The estate of the late Mrs Majorie Nell McKenzie was bequeathed to the
University of Sydney and a scholarship is offered to encourage education
in aeronautical engineering; applicants must already be a higher degree
candidate and hold an Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) or equivalent;
applications will be assessed on academic merit; $5000pa; up to three
years.

CSIRO PhD Scholarship Top-up - Biological Imaging
The CSIRO Division of Mathematical and Information Sciences is offering
a top-up scholarship for a PhD project in biological imaging and digital
image analysis; seeking a student with a background in bioinformatics,
computer science, mathematics, statistics, physics, or biology;
$7,000pa; up to three years.
