RESEARCH: Psychopharmacology; Otorhinolaryngology; Mental health;
Leukaemia.

 

 

Postgraduate Scholarship in Psychopharmacology  

A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably
qualified candidate with a good honours degree in a relevant discipline
to undertake research studies leading to a PhD; the project is to
investigate the role of Oxytocin in the psychosocial deficits and
cravings related to methamphetamine use; $20,007 pa up until 31st
December 2008.

The Garnett Passe and Rodney Williams Memorial Foundation

On offer are scholarships in Otorhinolaryngology or the related fields
of biomedical science to commence in 2009: applicants must be either
medically qualified or science graduates, and who are, or will be,
enrolled for a higher university degree; up to $29, 753pa for up to 3
years based on satisfactory progress; scholarships are  tenable in
Australian or New Zealand institutions.

Ian Scott PhD Scholarship in Mental Health

The Australian Rotary Health Research Fund (ARHRF) invites applications
from recent graduates looking to build a career in research relevant to
mental health; $26,000 pa for up to 3.5 years; applicants must be
commencing their first or second year of a full-time PhD in 2009;
applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of Australia.

Leukaemia Foundation PhD Scholarships 2009

The Leukaemia Foundation provides support for the educational and
professional development of researchers and other professionals
undertaking a PhD in a field relevant to leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma
or related blood disorders; PhD Scholarships have a total value of
$40,000; up to 1 year; aapplications are invited from Australian
citizens and permanent residents or those able to demonstrate
eligibility to enroll at an Australian institution.
