RESEARCH:  Obesity, Aerospace

 

 

Australasian Society for the Study of Obesity (ASSO) PhD Scholarship
2007

The ASSO aims to support excellence in research in the area of
overweight and obesity in the Australasian region; applicants for this
scholarship must be Australian or NZ citizens or permanent residents of
Australia or NZ, have completed a degree (or equivalent) in any
discipline with a minimum of H2 and be enrolled, or eligible to enrol as
a full-time student in an approved postgraduate course at a recognised
Australian or NZ University commencing in 2007.

Amelia Earhart Fellowship Program

Women of any nationality pursuing a PhD/doctoral degree who demonstrate
a superior academic record in the field of aerospace-related sciences
and aerospace-related engineering may apply; defence-related and
post-doctoral research programs are not eligible for the Fellowship;
US$6,000 for 1 year; successful applicants may apply to renew the
Fellowship for a 2nd year.
