Australian Postgraduate Award (Industry) on Mechanistic Investigation of
Fluorinated Coatings for Stone Preservation 

Available to support a full-time research project leading to a PhD; the
project is to conduct a mechanistic investigation of fluorinated
coatings for stone preservations; applicants should have an Hons 1 or 2A
degree in materials science and engineering or mechanical engineering;
$24,650 pa; applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent
residents or NZ citizens.

Australian Postgraduate Award (Industry) in Cultural Heritage and
Environmental Spatial Modelling

2 scholarships are available to support a full-time research project
leading to a PhD for research on cultural and natural landscapes in the
Angkor World Heritage Area, Cambodia $23,886 pa, $5,000 pa for costs
associated with the research; applicants must be Australian citizens,
Australian permanent residents or NZ citizens.

Short-term Postgraduate Scholarship in Pharmacology

Open to candidate with a good undergraduate degree in science or
engineering to undertake research studies leading to a MMed; the project
is to investigate the structural basis for lipid modulation of glycine
transporters; $19,834 pa; 6 months, possibility of renewing for up to 2
years in total.

Australian Rotary Health Research Foundation Ian Scott Fellowship - PhD
Scholarship

Open to recent graduates to undertake a full-time PhD in the area of
research relevant to mental illness; $26,000 pa + incidental support
funds for a max of 3 years; only applicants commencing 1st or 2nd year
of PhD are eligible; applicants must be citizens or permanent residents
of Australia.

practices may be based or which contribute to advances in methodology of
educational research, evaluation and dissemination.
