Australian Postgraduate Award (Industry) on Commercial Publication of
Scholarly Work

Open to candidate to pursue research for a PhD in the general area of
critical non-fiction writing and public culture in contemporary
Australia; applicants must hold an Hons 1 degree or equivalent in a
relevant discipline; $24,650pa; up to three years; applicants must be
Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or NZ  citizens.

Postgraduate Research Scholarship in Public Health 

Open to candidate to undertake research studies leading to a MPhilPH at
USYD; 12 months only, by which time the candidate must complete their
MPhilPH or find alternative funding to permit conversion and
continuation of their candidature to a PhD; $19,257; applicants must be
citizens or permanent residents of Australia.

AISEF Postgraduate Fellowship

Open to student enrolled in a postgraduate research degree in an
Australian University to spend up to 6 months working in a research
laboratory in Israel; covers economy airfare, a max of A$5,000 towards
living and accommodation costs; applicants must be citizens or permanent
residents of Australia.

2006 Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong Awards

Open to Australian scholars wishing to undertake research in China, Hong
Kong and in 'other Asia' which includes India, Indonesia, Japan,
Republic of Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam; up to
$25,000 for 4 to 6 months; applicants must be citizens or permanent
residents of Australia and physically resident in Australia at the time
of application (dual citizenship or permanent residents of the country
they wish to visit are not eligible to apply) and must have an
undergraduate degree.
