Short-term Postgraduate Scholarship in Physical Chemistry

A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available to undertake research
studies leading to a PhD in chemistry; the project is to investigate
surfactant self-assembly in room-temperature ionic liquids; $18,837 pa;
for one semester; applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of
Australia.

The Menzies Foundation Allied Health Sciences Scholarships

The Sir Robert Menzies Memorial Foundation is offering two research
scholarships; the purpose is to try to improve the health of Australians
by supporting an outstanding applicant from one of the non-medical
allied health disciplines whose research is likely to fall outside the
conventional areas of medical research; open to applicants who have
completed the first stage of the PhD project; $25,000 pa for two years
from 2006.

Fellowship in Florence

Applications are invited for an Australian European University Institute
Fellowship (Postgraduate) which provides the opportunity to carry out
research for three months at the European University Institute in
Florence; available to postgraduates currently undertaking research in
history, law, economics, and social and political sciences; the
Fellowship covers EUI fees for three months and provides a one-off
payment of $7,000.
