Postgraduate Scholarship at School of Aerospace, Mechanical & Mechatronic
Engineering

Available at the School of Aerospace, Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering
(AMME) to conduct a study on “Mechanics Modelling of Deformation and
Fracture Mechanisms in Polymer Nanocomposites” in line with the research
interests of CRC-Advanced Composite Structures; A$24,388 pa; up to 3 years;
applicants must enrol for a PhD degree at School of AMME.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Dermatology

Open to candidate with a medical qualification (MBBS) to undertake research
studies leading to a M.Med in dermatology; the project is to investigate the
effects of different ultraviolet wavelengths on human skin immune responses;
$26,000 pa; 2 years; applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of
Australia.

Australian Postgraduate Award (Industry) in Managing Phytophthora in Native
Ecosystems

Available to support a full-time research project leading to a PhD; the
project will explore the biochemical and molecular characteristics of
Phytophthora-plant interactions that determine the effectiveness of
phosphite-induced disease control in native ecosystems; applicants should
have an Hons 1 or 2A degree in plant science; $23,886 pa; 3 years; must be
Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or NZ citizens.

Warwick Wilkinson Pharmacy Management Postgraduate Research Scholarship

Available for innovative pharmacy management research at USYD; applicants
must be permanent residents with a 1st Class Hons or equivalent practical
experience in Pharmacy, Health Sciences, Business, Marketing or Economics;
$18,837 pa; up to 3 years for full-time PhD; part-time enrolment will be
considered in exceptional circumstances.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Environmental Chemistry

Open to graduate with a good honours degree in a scientific discipline with
an emphasis on chemistry to undertake a research project leading to a PhD or
masters degree in environmental chemistry; the project is to investigate the
significance of endocrine-disrupting compounds (EDCs) in the urban and rural
aquatic environment; a 2nd PhD scholarship in this project, to be held at
the UNSW; $24,388 pa; up to 3 years; must be citizens of Australia or NZ or
permanent residents of Australia.

who are interested in oeonology and wine industry in France; applicants must

Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) Lyon - Master’s Program International
Scholarships

Available for foreign students having completed, or being enrolled in their
final year of undergraduate studies; candidates must be accepted in the

renewable for 2nd year in order to obtain the Master’s degree in Science.

Ecole Normale Supérieure (ENS) de Cachan - International Scholarship
Programme

Open to students at a Master’s or PhD level who wish pursue their research
training in one of the departments or laboratories of the ENS de Cachan;
1,000 € /month; 6 – 12 months, not renewable; the 2nd year of Master’s
candidates must be <26 years old and PhD candidates must be <28 years old
when they start their studies.

2005 Churchill Fellowships

Open to Australian citizens pursuing an overseas investigative project of a
kind that is not fully available in Australia and benefits the Australian
community; not for obtaining higher academic or formal qualifications, but
proposals for professional or academic investigations will be entertained;
includes airfares, fees and a living allowance; 4 - 10 weeks; applicants
must be >18 years old.
