Faculty of Pharmacy, Short-term Postgraduate Scholarship

Open to candidate to undertake Master of Pharmacy (Research) in the Faculty
of Pharmacy; the project is to investigate the effectiveness of specific
herbal medicines in the treatment of diabetes; $12,600 for 6 months, with a
possible extension of 6months.

PhD Scholarship in Engineering Education, School of Aerospace, Mechanical
and Mechatronic Engineering

Open to full time PhD candidate in the area of Engineering Education, to
undertake research on the relationship between the faculty's Generic
Graduate Attributes and the Development of the School's Teaching Curriculum;
$18,837 pa; conditions applied are equivalent to those of APA scholarships.

The ARC Centre of Excellence for Autonomous Systems (CAS) Scholarships in
Field Robotics

Open to students interested in PhD research in the area of autonomous
systems; applicants should have an Hons 1 degree in aeronautical/aerospace
engineering, mechanical/mechatronics engineering, electrical engineering,
mathematics, physics, computer science or related discipline or extensive
appropriate professional experience; $24,388 pa + access to overseas travel
grants and other allowances.

Australian Postgraduate Award (Industry) on Workplace Retention in Speech
Pathology

Available for a full-time PhD research project commencing Semester 1, 05;
the project is to measure the psychological well being of speech
pathologists nationally and to identify workplace dimensions that are
hindering or enhancing retention in the public sector and the wider
workplace; applicants should have an Hons 1 or 2A degree in speech
pathology; $24,388 pa; up to 3 years; must be Australian citizens/permanent
residents or NZ citizens.

Open to a graduate with BSc Hons 1 or 2A or equivalent, or MBBS, to
undertake a laboratory-based PhD project; the project will involve the role
of the growth-regulating protein, insulin-like growth factor binding
protein-3 (IGFBP-3) in hepatoblastoma and other paediatric cancers; $28,014

American Australian Association - Education Fellowships Program 

Australia-US Fellowship 2005-2006 - 5 fellowships will be awarded to
Australian citizens for full-time advanced research and study (Masters or
PhD) in the US for the academic year 05-06; the project or study must be in
the area of business, science, technology, medicine or engineering; up to
US$25,000 each for 1 year.

Macquarie AAA Education Fellowship for Stanford Graduate School of Business
- Available to an Australian citizen conducting research or undertaking
Masters, PhD or post-doctoral studies in business in the US at Stanford
University, $US50,000 over 2 years.
