Postgraduate Scholarship in Telecommunications Network
2 scholarships are available to candidates to undertake PhD studies in 2005
at the School of Electrical and Information Engineering, USYD in the area of
network traffic analysis, modelling, traffic management techniques and
quality of service; applicants should have an Hons 1 or 2A degree or a
research Masters degree; $18,837 pa + a top-up of $6,000 pa; up to 3 years;
must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or NZ citizens.

PhD Scholarships in Mycobacterial Disease Research
The Faculty of Veterinary Science, Farm Animal Health has opportunities in
several areas of mycobacterial disease research; $25,000 pa with funds for
additional training and travel; applicants should have an Hons 1 or 2A in
Science, Animal Science or Veterinary Science or equivalent; must be
Australian citizens or permanent residents.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Medical Psychology
Open to candidate with a good honours degree or equivalent in science to
undertake research studies leading to a PhD in medical psychology; the
project is to develop an information and consent module for patients
undergoing investigative colonoscopies; $25,000 pa; up to 3 years; must be
citizens or permanent residents of Australia.

Available for study at any graduate school at Harvard Uni during the 05/06
academic year; applicants must be Hons graduate of an Australian university
or other recognised Australian tertiary institution; be an Australian
citizen or permanent resident status, and normally reside in Australia;
intend to return to Australia after completing the studies or to directly
represent Australia overseas and have not previously undertaken a
postgraduate degree course at a US university; up to US$50,000.

Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation 11th Foreigners
Fellowships Programme
Open to postgraduate students and PhD candidates; applicants should be
enrolled for a postgraduate course at a Uni either outside Greece or in
Greece; covers an allowance of 750/m, a return air ticket and
accommodation; 5 - 10 months; must be non Greek descent or Greek descent
(2nd generation and on) who are permanently residing and working abroad or
currently studying in foreign Uni and < 40 years old.
