CSIRO ATNF Summer Vacation Scholarships

Australian Postgraduate Award (Industry) on Quantitative microPET
Imaging
This scholarship will provide support for a full-time research project
leading to a PhD; the project is to develop quantitative imaging
methodologies for microPET; applicants should have a Hons 1 or 2A degree
in physics or medical radiation sciences; applicants must be Australian
citizens, Australian permanent residents or NZ citizens; $24,650 pa; 3
years.

Peter Platt Memorial Scholarship
Open to the most distinguished candidates to further their research
studies in music in Australia or overseas, namely in Musicology, Modern
Composition or Musical Performance (including historical performance
practice); must be a USYD graduate with a major in Music, and must have
outstanding qualifications in at least two of the above areas; approx.
$4,000.

CSIRO ATNF Summer Vacation Scholarships
Open to graduate and undergraduate students who have completed 3 years
or more of undergraduate education in Physics, Maths, Computer Science,
Electrical Engineering or closely related subjects; to undertake a
research project under the supervision of a research engineer or
scientist; 10 working weeks (5/12/05 to 10/02/06); $500/week;
accommodation costs are paid for by the students; cost of observing trip
to Narrabri is met by ATNF.
