Postgraduate Scholarship in Cardiovascular Clinical Trials
Open to candidate with a degree in medicine to undertake research studies 
leading to a PhD in clinical cardiology research; applicants should have 
already completed a significant time in advanced training in clinical 
cardiology, and have demonstrated research experience; up to 3 years 
@$35,000 pa; applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of Australia.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Dermatology
Open to candidate with a medical qualification (MBBS) to undertake research 
studies leading to a MMed in dermatology; the project is to investigate the 
mechanisms involved in ultraviolet radiation induced immunosuppression; 
applicants should have passed the FACD Part I exam.  1 year @25,000 pa; 
pplicants must be citizens or permanent residents of Australia.

PhD Scholarships in Field Robotics
Open to students interested in PhD research in the area of autonomous 
unmanned vehicles (AUV) design, construction, control, navigation and 
operation; applicants should have a 1st class honours degree in 
aeronautical/aerospace engineering, mechanical/mechatronics engineering, 
electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science or related 
discipline or extensive appropriate professional experience; 3 years @ 
$23,294 p.a + overseas travel grants and other allowances.

Postgraduate Completion Scholarship in Architecture
Open to postgraduate student in Architecture (enrolled at the University of 
Sydney) who will complete their PhD studies in 2003; $10,000 pa; available 
from March 1 up until the end of November (or when they submit their 
thesis, whichever is earliest).

Australia-China Council Young Business Scholars in Taiwan Program
2 scholarships are available to young Australian graduates; holders of 
degrees in the areas of IT or science and technology are preferred; 
applicants must be Australian citizens under the age of 30 who have studied 
Mandarin and are interested in working in Taiwan; the program consists of a 
short intensive language refresher course followed by a semester of 
business studies + to undertake a 6-month business internship.
