Lionel Murphy Australian Postgraduate Scholarships
Open to candidates intend to pursue a postgraduate degree in science, law 
or legal studies, or other appropriate discipline; tenable at an Australian 
tertiary institution; 1 year @ $15,000 pa; applicants must be Australian 
citizens, or permanent residents by 31 October of the year prior to

Land & Water Australia Postgraduate Scholarships 2003
Funds are available commencing 2003 to support postgraduate research 
scholarships which will lead to better management, sustainable use and 
conservation of land water and vegetation resources in Australia; up to 
three years for PhD candidates, or two years to Masters candidates; valued 
at $23,000 pa plus $5,000 for operating expenses.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Physiology
Open to candidates to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in 
Physiology in the Laboratory of Exocrine Physiology and Biophysics in the 
Physiology Department, Sydney University; applicants should have, or expect 
to have by the end of the year, a good honours degree in Physiology, 
Biochemistry or a related discipline; value will be based on the NHMRC

Australian Foundation for Studies in Italy Travelling Fellowships
AFSI is offering travel fellowships for Australian, principally 
postgraduate and postdoctoral scholars, wishing to undertake research in 
Italy during 2003; applicants should engage in the study of Italian 
history, culture and society, or archaeology and classical antiquities, and 
be practitioners in the humanities and arts wanting to pursue creative work
