Open to holders of APA, APAI or university scholarship at the University of
Sydney; working in the housing and urban studies relevant to research
agenda of AHURI; $7,000 pa.

Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) Awards for Postgraduate Study
A number of awards are tenable at Australian and overseas universities or
institutions; aims to facilitate research and training in areas of
practical value to the Australian beef, sheep meat and goat meat
industries; MLA Studentships PG Diploma or Masters courses, 2 yrs, $17,609
pa plus a technical assistance grant A$2000 or A$4000 pa in Australia;
US$4500 or US$6000 pa for overseas; MLA Junior Research Fellowships PhD, 3
yrs, $25,000 pa plus a technical assistance grant of A$6000 or A$8000 pa in
Australia, US$45000 or US$6000 pa for overseas.

Commonwealth Scholarship and Fellowship Plan (CSFP)
Open to Australian citizens who have graduated from a first degree or
Masters program after 1 October 1993 and have obtained at least an upper
second class honours qualification or its equivalent or have the prospect
of obtaining results at those levels by October 2003; tenable in all
subjects at any University in the UK from October 2003; Masters or Doctoral
research; return economy air fares to the UK, approved tuition and other
compulsory university fees (excluding board and residence), a personal
maintenance allowance (£608 per month or £730 per month for students living
in London), and grants for books and apparatus (£407 in the first year and
£244 for a subsequent full year).
