RSAA is co-hosting a forum on the engineering of scientific instrumentation in Canberra in October. The broad objective is to get the engineering teams from astronomy, accelerators, and similar disciplines together to exchange tips and tricks on the development of control systems, detectors, cryogenics, motion control, etc.

There is some further information in the attached document and also on the conference's Indico website: https://protect-au.mimecast.com/s/53XjCANpgjC9vyllZSGwLNx?domain=events01.synchrotron.org.au

Please pass this information on to our colleagues in other astronomical instrumentation groups within Australia.

With thanks, David Brodrick
