Applications are invited for a 3-year postdoctoral research position to work on the Widefield ASKAP L-band Legacy All-sky Blind surveY (WALLABY). This ASTRO 3D research position will be based at the International Centre for Radio Astronomy Research (ICRAR), The University of Western Australia (UWA), and the focus is the WALLABY survey of atomic hydrogen (HI) content of galaxies in the local Universe, now being conducted with the Australian SKA Pathfinder (ASKAP) telescope by a team of over 100 national and international researchers. Possible research areas include: Local Group galaxies and high-velocity clouds; the kinematics of Local Volume galaxies; environmental influences on galaxy interactions; galaxy formation and evolution, and cosmology.
