[ASA] Data Science Job Opportunities within the Gravitational Wave Data Centre

I am pleased to announce the availability of a range of astronomy-focussed data science employment opportunities as a

Gravitational Wave Data Centre (GWDC) is established as an extension of the Astronomy Data and Computing Services (ADACS)

team based at Swinburne University of Technology.


Successful applicants will be part of a highly motivated, diversely qualified team of experts ensuring the successful delivery

of high-performance computing and data science programs focussed on meeting the data processing and data management

needs of the gravitational wave astronomy community. The roles cover a range of levels and include software engineering

and testing, research and development activities, high-performance computing support and training.

These roles will be based at Swinburne working within the Centre for Astrophysics & Supercomputing and working closely

with all nodes of the OzGrav Centre of Excellence for Gravitational Wave Discovery. Successful applicants will work

both independently and directly with other members of the ADACS support team as well as with members of the

national astronomy community.
