Teaching Classical Languages Symposium 2024

Following extremely successful events in 2017, 2020, and 2022, we are once again inviting contributions for the Teaching Classical Languages Symposium, hosted by the University of Sydney. This one day hybrid event will be held for the first time on a Saturday (17th of August) to allow as many teachers from the secondary and tertiary system to attend as possible. While we invite proposals for twenty minute papers on any topic related to the pedagogy of Classical Languages, this year we would be particularly interested in presentations relating to the challenges and opportunities of AI.

Please send abstracts of no more than 250 words to the convenors, Tamara Neal t.neal at sydney.edu.au<mailto:t.neal at sydney.edu.au> and Sarah Lawrence slawren4 at une.edu.au<mailto:slawren4 at une.edu.au> by April the 28th. We also welcome panel presentations on a particular theme of particular interest to teachers of classical languages.
