Dear CCANESA and Classics community,
We are delighted to announce that the University’s Classics and Ancient History seminars will be restarting this semester online, leading on from the original schedule organised by Dr Ben Brown.
A modified schedule of seminars will be presented fortnightly via Zoom, the remote conferencing application. Notifications of each event (or changes to its details) will be sent out one week before the scheduled date and further details can be found on the SOPHI Events site.
The seminars will recommence this Thursday, APRIL 23rd at 4:15pm with:
Natalie Mendes (University of Sydney)
“Poor Offerings by Late Antique Peasants: Evidence for Pagan Ritual in Post-Constantinian North Africa.”
