Research Scholarships

 

Australian Biological Resources Study (ABRS) Top-up Scholarships

Top-up scholarships are available for applicants that are beginning a
Ph.D. on an Australian Postgraduate Award (APA) in 2011; research must
focus on taxonomy or systematics analysis; applicants must be an
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident; $10,000pa; up to three years.

Closing Date: 22 October 2010

 

Australian Biological Resources Study (ABRS) Honours/Masters
scholarships

Full-time and part-time scholarships are available for honours/Masters
students; research must focus on taxonomy or systematics analysis;
applicants must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident;
$10,000pa; up to one year.

Closing Date: 22 October 2010

 

Bush Blitz Strategic Taxonomy Grants Scheme

Scholarships are available for PhD students; research must focus on
taxonomy or systematics analysis that can be linked to Bush Blitz;
applicants must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident;
$10,000pa in additional research support; up to one year.

Closing Date: 22 October 2010

 

Postgraduate Scholarship in Applied Finance

Scholarships are available for a suitably qualified candidate with a
Class I Honours degree in Finance or Software Engineering degree (or
equivalent); the project will investigate market mechanisms and the
determinants of transaction costs by developing market modeling and
market simulation technologies; applicants must have a 1st-class Honours
degree or a master degree by research in software engineering, finance
or equivalent and be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents
or New Zealand citizens; $50,000pa: up to 3 years.
