Research Scholarships

 

Postgraduate Scholarship on the Quality and Acceptability of Maternity
Care

A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably
qualified candidate to undertake research studies leading to a PhD on
the delivery of maternity services in NSW;  the project will use the
qualitative approaches of ethnography and grounded theory to investigate
maternity hospital care in rural and urban NSW; applicants should have a
good Honours degree or a Masters Degree in public health, social
science, bioethics, or a related discipline; applicants must be
Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or New Zealand
citizens; $22,500pa; up to three years.

Overseas Scholarships

 

Endeavour Research Fellowships 2011

The Australian Government provides opportunities for high achieving
Australian students to undertake study in a broad range of disciplines
in participating countries; the award provides financial support for
postgraduate Masters or PhD students to undertake short-term research
(4-6 months); for research in any field of study.

Other Scholarships

 

AFUW-ACT INC Bursary

The Australian Federation of University Women - ACT Incorporated offers
free board and lodging for up to four (4) weeks at a residential college
at the Australian National University, Canberra to a woman graduate or
final year honours student from a university or tertiary institution in
Australia, New Zealand, Papua-New Guinea or South Pacific countries.
