Great Artesian Basin PhD Top-up Scholarships

Two top-up scholarships are being offered for full-time PhD students to
undertake research in the ecological, physical, cultural or
socioeconomic aspects of the Great Artesian Basin; to supplement primary
postgraduate awards for PhD projects commencing in 2010; $5,000pa; up to
three years. 

Closing date: There is no closing date and applications may be submitted
at any time.

 

Postgraduate Scholarship in Behavioural Neuroscience

A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available to undertake research
studies leading to a PhD in Behavioural Neuroscience; the project is to
investigate the role of basal ganglia in decision-making; applicants can
be local or international students but this scholarship does not cover
tuition fees payable by international students; applicants must have a
good Honours degree or equivalent  in science or engineering; $26,140pa;
up to three years. 

Closing date: 15 October 2009

Cotutelle Travelling Grants 2010

The French-Australian Cotutelle calls for travel grant proposals from
PhD students enrolled in a Cotutelle project between a French and
Australian University; fields considered include environment and climate
change; energy and energy efficiency; aerospace and aviation; and
biomedical sciences; up to 10 grants-in aid will be provided towards
international travel between France and Australia in 2010; up to $2,500
per student. 

Closing date: 4 December 2009
