Australian Postgraduate Award (Industry) in Health Informatics Research

An exciting opportunity exists for two PhD candidates to work in a new
area of health informatics research; two scholarships are being offered,
one in technology-supported work innovation in emergency departments,
and one in the impact of an electronic medical record system on patient
care and clinicians' work practices in an ambulatory setting
(rheumatology outpatient department); applicants should have an Honours
1 or 2A or equivalent; applicants must be Australian citizens,
Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens; $26,669pa; up to
three years. 

Closing Date: 4 May 2009

 

School of Psychology Margaret Stewart Fund Scholarship

Applications are invited for the Margaret Stewart Fund Scholarship;
tenable for postgraduate study supervised within the School of
Psychology at the University of Sydney; applicants must be Australian
citizens or permanent residents; $20,427pa; for one year with possible
extension to two years. 

Closing Date: 15 April 2009

 

Peter Baillieu Scholarship in Agribusiness

A PhD scholarship with  the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Natural
Resources is available to promote and encourage research in Australian
agribusiness; all areas of agribusiness will be considered however
preference will be given to projects relevant to the Central West of New
South Wales; applicants must have a good honours degree or equivalent in
a relevant discipline; applicants must be Australian citizens,
Australian permanent residents or New Zealand citizens; $20,427 pa; up
to three years.

Closing Date: 1 June 2009

 

Overseas Scholarships

 

Campbell Perry International Research Scholarships 2009

Applications are invited for the Campbell Perry International Research
Scholarships which will provide up to $6,000 to support research-related
international travel by PhD students; students should be conducting
research that will contribute to the development of psychological
knowledge from a theoretical and/or empirical perspective; applicants
must be enrolled in a full-time PhD in the School of Psychology and be
supported by an Australian Postgraduate Award or equivalent.
