JW and ICM Roderick Scholarship

One J.W. and I.C.M. Roderick scholarship is available for a suitably
qualified student with a good Honours degree (or equivalent) in
Engineering to undertake full time research leading to a PhD degree in
the School of Civil Engineering; in the field of design and model-based
simulation of nanomaterials enhanced glass window system against blast
loading; $20,007pa; up to three years; tuition fee scholarships provided
for qualified international students. 

Closing Date: 10 October 2008

 

Postgraduate Scholarship in Ruminant Health

A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably
qualified candidate with a degree in veterinary science that is
registrable in NSW to undertake research studies leading to a Master of
Veterinary Clinical Studies; to provide clinical and research training
in livestock health and production with particular emphasis on the
cattle industry; $38,000pa; up to two years or three years if upgraded
to PhD. 

Closing Date:  20 August 2008

 

Elizabeth Wunsch Postgraduate Research Scholarship

To engage in pharmaceutical research within the Faculty of Pharmacy at
the University of Sydney; awarded on the basis of academic merit and
research potential; applicants must have or expect to complete by the
end of 2008 a Bachelor Degree with First Class Honours and be enrolled
or enrolling in a PhD at the Faculty of Pharmacy; applicants must be
Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents, or New Zealand
citizens; $20,007pa; up to three years. 

Closing Date:  1 November 2008  

 

Postgraduate Scholarship in Ecological Interactions with Herbivores  

A one-year full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a
suitably qualified candidate with a good honours degree in
science/applied science for research leading to a PhD in biology; the
project is to investigate how foraging herbivores negotiate the
ecological constraints of plant toxins and predators; $20,007 pa for 1
year; applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent
residents, or New Zealand citizens.
