RESEARCH:  Deep Sea Biology and Oceanography, the Role of HIV-Induced
Maturation of Dendritic Cells in HIV Immunopathogenesis, Family,
Community and Disability Studies.

 

APAI in Deep Sea Biology and Oceanography

Up to 3 scholarships are available for research leading to a PhD;
research program aims to develop the fundamental deep-sea science that
will underpin environmentally sustainable drilling practices in the
future; applicants should have an H1 or 2A degree in a relevant
discipline; applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent
residents or NZ citizens; $25,627 pa; up to 3 years.

Postgraduate Scholarship:  The Role of HIV-Induced Maturation of
Dendritic Cells in HIV Immunopathogenesis.

Available for a suitably qualified candidate with a good hons degree in
science (microbiology and immunology) to undertake research studies
leading to a PhD in viral immunology; the project is to investigate the
role of HIV-induced maturation of dendritic cells in HIV
immunopathogenesis; $25,000 pa; up to 3 years; applicants must be
Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Family, Community and Disability Studies

2 scholarships are available for research leading to a PhD; research is
into care succession planning and the reciprocity of relationships
between people with disabilities, their families and their social
networks; applicants should have an H1 or 2A degree or Masters by
research in education, occupational therapy, social science or related
discipline; $25,118 pa; up to 3 years; the scholarship does not cover
any tuition fees payable by international students.
