RESEARCH:  

 

The ARC Centre of Excellence for Autonomous Systems (CAS) Scholarships
in Field Robotics

CAS invites students interested in PhD research in the area of
autonomous systems, including perception, control, learning and systems
to apply for a CAS Scholarship;

applicants should have a H1 degree in aeronautical/aerospace
engineering, mechanical/mechatronics engineering, electrical
engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science or related
discipline or extensive appropriate professional experience;$25,365 pa.

J.W. and I. C. M. Roderick Scholarship

Available for postgraduate research in the School of Civil Engineering
for students who will carry out full time towards the degree of PhD;
applicants should have an Hons equivalent degree in Engineering,
Science, or Applied Mathematics, and have an interest in either wind
engineering, water or coastal engineering, or ocean energy; $19,616 pa;
up to 3 years.

AW Howard Memorial Trust Research Fellowship

Applications are sought from suitably qualified students in agricultural
science, natural resource management, agricultural economics and social
science who are intending to commence or have started approved
post-graduate tertiary studies (Masters or Doctorate degrees) that
relate to the development, management and use of pastures; $5,000 "top
up" stipend; up to 3 years.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Solid State Chemistry

For a suitably qualified candidate with a good hons degree in science to
undertake research studies leading to a PhD in solid state chemistry;
the project is to investigate the structure and properties of
multi-ferroric metal oxides; $19,616 pa; up to 3 years; applicants must
be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents or NZ citizens.

Overseas Scholarships

 

Sciences Po Scholarship 

The Embassy of France offers one scholarship for an Australian national
selected for the masters program of Sciences Po (the institute for
political studies in Paris); up to 2 years; includes a monthly allowance
of 767 euros, payment of the tuition fees and a health coverage; open to
any Australian citizen who has already received a bachelor in a related
field and would like to register for a full master program at Sciences
Po.
