2007 Grants-in-Aid 

Grants-in-Aid provide students with travel grants to support short-term
periods of research overseas, and most grants are open only to full-time
postgraduate research students.  The 2007 Grants-in-Aid are now open for

RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIPS: Dynamic Economic Effects of Population Ageing,
Pharmacy.

 

PhD Scholarship in Dynamic Economic Effects of Population Ageing

For research leading to a PhD; the project will forecast demographic and
health transition in Australia and develop capacity to analyse the
likely economic and workplace adjustments that population ageing will
generate; applicants should have an hons degree (of at least H2 (upper
division)) in economics (or related discipline), or alternatively a
masters degree with a substantial research component; $25,365 pa; up to
3 years.

W H and Elizabeth M Deane Pharmaceutical Fund PhD Scholarship

For commencing PhD students studying in the area of direct pain
relieving drugs; up to 3 years, valued at the current APA rate ($19,616
pa) and indexed annually; to be awarded to a suitable applicant who has
applied for admission to the Doctor of Philosophy (Pharmacy) by 20 April
2007.
