Research Scholarships

 

Postgraduate Award in Experimental High Energy Physics

For full-time studies in the School of Physics leading to the award of a MSc or PhD; research will be undertaken in the area of experimental high energy physics and will involve simulation and analysis for the ATLAS experiment, which is one of the two major experiments under construction for the Large Hadron Collider at CERN; available for 1 year initially; $10,000 pa.

Faculty of Pharmacy PhD Scholarships

The Faculty of Pharmacy is offering up to 3 scholarships for outstanding candidates to engage in full-time PhD studies within the Faculty in Semester 2, 2006; $19,231 pa.; up to 3 years.

Overseas Scholarships

 

Power Institute Studio Residency 2007 Cité Internationale des Arts, Paris

The Cité Internationale des Arts in the Rue de L'Hotel de Ville, in the Marais quarter of Paris provides studio accommodation for foreign and provincial art students, including musicians, painters, sculptors and graphic artists. Each year the Institute offers 3 awards which enable artists to take up residencies in its studio in the heart of Paris; applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.

The Sir Robert Menzies Memorial Scholarship in Law for 2007

2 postgraduate scholarships in law are on offer for tenure at universities in the United Kingdom; principally for studies at Oxford, Cambridge, St Andrews and Edinburgh universities; 1 or 2 academic years; candidates must be Australian citizens, have been resident in Australia for at least 5 of the last 10 years, and be available for interview in Australia at the time of selection in mid-October; the scholarship provides a living allowance, and funding towards tuition fees and airfares.
