Postgraduate Scholarship at School of Aerospace, Mechanical and
Mechatronic Engineering

Open to potential PhD candidates at the School of Aerospace, Mechanical
and Mechatronic Engineering to conduct a study on "Time-dependent
Deformation Behaviors of Polymer Nanocomposites" in line with the
research interests of CRC-ACS (Advanced Composite Structures) from
1/9/05; $24,388; up to 3 years with a possible 6-month extension.

Millennium Foundation Research Scholarships

Initiating Grants for Young Investigators - 1 year at the level of
NH&MRC stipends for medical and non-medical research students.

Stipend Enhancement Support - New applications only; for students who
achieve or are applying for external awards of value less than the value
of the Initiating Grant.

Tenable in research departments at Westmead Hospital and Westmead
Millennium Institute; applicants must be citizens or permanent residents
of Australia.

Invasive Animals Cooperative Research Centre (IA CRC) PhD Scholarships

PhD Scholarships are offered in 2006for research related to invasive
animal management and control; $25,000 pa; up to 4 years rather than the
more usual 3 years; applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian
permanent residents or New Zealand citizens.
