National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Scholarships 2006
A final reminder that the University internal closing date for
applications will be 25 July 2005.

Australian Postgraduate Award (Industry) on Mobile Computing for
e-Learning
Available for a full-time research project leading to a PhD in Design
Computing; applicants must have an Hons 1 or 2A degree in design
computing, computer science, electrical engineering, or related
discipline; $24,650 pa; up to 3 years; applicants must be Australian
citizens, Australian permanent residents or NZ citizens.

Australian Postgraduate Award (Industry) in
Crystallisation/Precipitation of Pharmaceutical Nanoparticles
Available for a full-time research project leading to a PhD degree;
project is to explore the use of high gravity controlled precipitation
to produce nanoparticles of pharmaceutical compounds; applicants should
have an Hons 1 or 2A degree in chemistry, materials science,

Australian Biological Resources Study (ABRS) Bursaries for Student
Travel Conference Support Awards
Open to current PhD or Masters students in Australian institutions to
travel to a national or international conference relevant to both the
student's research program in systematics or taxonomy and the Aims and
Objectives of the ABRS; max $1,000 for an international conference and
$500 for travel within Australia.
