Postgraduate Scholarship in Psychopharmacology (MDMA Research)

A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available to undertake research
studies leading to a Masters or PhD; the project is to investigate the
long-term effects of the drug MDMA ("Ecstasy")  and Methamphetamine
("speed") on brain and behaviour and to determine factors that may promote
or protect against the neurotoxic effects of the drugs; $18,837 pa.

A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available to undertake research
studies leading to a Masters or PhD; the project is to investigate the
effects of exposure to cannabis-like drugs on vulnerability to the addictive
effects of other drugs, particularly alcohol; $18,837 pa.

Australian Postgraduate Award (Industry) on Market Integrity and Liquidity

A PhD scholarship is available to examine market integrity on the Australian
Stock Exchange and to assess its impact on liquidity; applicants should have
a Hons 1 or 2A degree in Finance; $23,886 pa; 3 years; applicants must be

Australian Postgraduate Research Scholarship in Engineering Education

A full-time postgraduate research scholarship is available to undertake
research studies leading to a Master's degree with possible extension to a
PhD degree;  the research project is to investigate the integration of the
new curriculum within the current pedagogical framework, its evaluation for
effectiveness in teaching than its alignment with the desired learning
outcomes;  $21,500 pa.

CSIRO Postgraduate Scholarships    

Open to postgraduate students to undertake research in ICT laboratories in
the form of "top-up" scholarships for Australian Post Graduate Awards (APA)
and equivalent University awards; $7,000 pa; 3 years; $4,000 pa travel and
operating costs; $6,000 to support attendance at one international
conference and associated overseas laboratory visits.
