Postgraduate Scholarship in Thermal-mechanical Behaviour of Optical
Fibres and Photonic Packaging
Open to candidate with a good Hons degree in science or engineering to
undertake research studies leading to a PhD; the project is to
investigate the thermal-mechanical behaviour of optical fibres and
electronic/photonic packages; $18,837 pa; up to 3 years; applicants must
be citizens or permanent residents of Australia.

PhD Scholarships in Public Integrity Research
2 scholarships are available in a research program taking place in
Brisbane/Gold Coast, Sydney, Canberra and Perth; candidates should have
an Hons 1 or 2A or masters degree in one or more of the following
fields: law, social or behavioural sciences; public policy,
administration, management or workplace relations; $24,650 pa; 3 years;
applicants must be Australian citizens, Australian permanent residents
or NZ citizens.

Heart Foundation Postgraduate Clinical Research Scholarships
Available for full-time postgraduate research studies leading to a PhD
at an Australian university or institution; for clinical research on
cardiovascular disease and related disorders; applicants should hold or
expect to obtain an Hons 1 degree; up to 3 years; $28,039 pa (medical
graduates) or $21,151 pa (non-medical graduates) in 2005 + other
allowances; applicants should normally reside in Australia and be
Australian citizens or permanent residents.
