Arts, Paris; open to 3 categories; Category A: Artists/Craftspeople - 
$7,500 for 6 months; Category B: Art Critics, Art Writers, Art Curators, 
Art Historians, Art Administrators - $3,750 for 3 months; Category C: Staff 
of the University of Sydney - $3,500 for 3 months.

PhD Scholarships in Field Robotics
Open to students interested in PhD research in the area of autonomous 
unmanned vehicles (AUV) design, construction, control, navigation and 
operation; applicants should have a 1st class honours degree in 
aeronautical/aerospace engineering, mechanical/mechatronics engineering, 
electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, computer science or related 
discipline or extensive appropriate professional experience; 3 years @ 
$23,294 pa + overseas travel grants and other allowances.

Postgraduate Scholarship in Biomaterials Science
Open to candidate to undertake full-time research studies leading to a PhD; 
applicants should have a background in polymer chemistry and experience in 
working with polymer layered silicate nanocomposite systems; a knowledge of 
dental monomer systems and experience in the dental industry would be 
advantageous; 20,000 pa; up to 3 years.

Malaysia  Australia Fellowships
Available for candidates wishing to undertake a postgraduate 
program/research in Malaysia; preference will be given to those who have 
obtained a university degree within the last 5 years; up to 18 months for 
academic year 2003/04; cover airfare, domestic travel allowance, tuition 
fee, monthly stipend (MYR 750), thesis allowance, book allowance, daily 
allowance and accommodation; candidates must be no more than 50 years of 
age at the time of application and must be Australian citizens permanently 
residing in Australia.
