Australian Postgraduate Award (Industry) on Glycaemic Index of Foods
Open to candidates with an Honours 1 or higher 2A equivalent qualification
in nutrition and dietetics and a proven research record in human subjects;
project planning and management skills, ability to work independently and
as part of a team, excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills are
essential; 1 year @ $23,294 pa; possibility of extension for 1 more year,
applicant must be Australian citizen or permanent resident who has lived
continuously in Australia for the last 12 months.

Australian Postgraduate Award (Industry) in Superabrasive Cutting Tool
Technology
Open to candidates to undertake a full-time research project leading to a
PhD; applicants should have an Honours 1 or 2A degree in the field of
machining, manufacturing, materials engineering/science, solid mechanics,
or a relevant discipline; 3 years @ $23,294 pa; applicants must be
Australian citizens or permanent residents who have lived continuously in
Australia for the past 12 months.

Dublin Institute For Advanced Studies (DIAS) Research Scholarships 2003/2004
Available in the School of Celtic Studies for the academic year 2003-04;
research is currently concentrated in the following areas: Dialect Studies,
Early Irish (Brehon) Law, Manuscript Studies, Early and Bardic Verse;
valued at 13,000 plus fees where appropriate, generally tax-free but each
case is determined by the Revenue Commissioners on an individual basis.
