CRC Construction Innovation PhD Scholarships in Agents in Design
Open to applicants with an honours degree or a masters degree in
engineering, architecture, construction, computer science or a related
discipline; the PhD research will be related to projects funded by the
CRC-CI at the University of Sydney in the areas of computational agents in
design and computational agents in virtual environments in the construction
industry; 3 years @ $24,000 pa + research expenses of up to $6,000 pa.

PhD Scholarship in Rheumatology Department, Westmead Hospital
Open to Science/Medical graduates for a laboratory based PhD in the
Department of Rheumatology at Westmead Hospital; the project is to study
the action of, and develop new peptides that are able to influence the
function of, Natural Killer cells; previous research experience in cellular
immunology, biochemistry, molecular biology or peptide chemistry would be
an advantage; $17,000 - $25,000 pa according to NHMRC rates.

Postgraduate Research Scholarships on Research Ethics and the Ethical
Review Process
Open to candidates with an Honours 1 or 2A degree or otherwise be eligible
for candidature at the Masters or PhD level; the objective of the research
is to conduct an analysis of research ethics and the ethical review process
as culture and cultural process; experience/background in anthropology, the
health sciences, or related disciplines and familiarity with qualitative or
ethnographic research is an advantage; $22,771 pa (2002 rate); applicants
must be citizens or permanent residents of Australia.

Winifred E Preedy Postgraduate Bursary - AFUW

National Archives of Australia Summer Scholarships Scheme
2 scholarships will be awarded to first year postgraduate students and each
will be for six weeks duration and will be redeemable in Canberra. Students
will be provided with travel costs, accommodation, meals and small
honorarium. Applicants must be permanent resident or citizens of Australia
studying in Australia.
