APAI in Porous Mineral Formulations
Open to applicants with an Honours 1 or 2A degree in chemistry, geology, or 
a closely related discipline; PhD project is to explore the host-guest 
chemistry of a range of porous clays; $22,771 pa for 3 years.

ASDM Orthopaedic Engineering Scholarship
Open to applicants with a degree in science or engineering or biomedical 
engineering; Masters or PhD project to investigate the static and dynamic 
properties of an artificial hip or knee joint using the finite element 
method and/or associated experimental techniques; $22,000 pa.

National Heart Foundation Postgraduate Clinical Research Scholarships
PhD scholarships awarded for clinical research on cardiovascular disease 
and related disorders; normally 3 years; $19,755 (for non-medical

Technology for Industry Education Fellowship  CRL Energy Ltd  Canterbury 
University, New Zealand
Open to applicants with a BSc/BE Honours or MSc/Me degree in geology, 
engineering geology, environmental science, environmental engineering, or 
equivalent degree with an understanding of hydrogeology; PhD project 
entitled Groundwater Treatment and Disposal associated with Coalbed Methane 
Recovery; NZ$21,641 pa plus NZ$4,000 pa for university fees for 3 years.
