Postgraduate Scholarship in Stated Choice Methods in Transport Studies
Open to qualified candidate with a good honours degree in economics or
statistics to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in transport
studies; the project is to investigate the way that individuals interact in
making choice decisions using stated choice experiments and the way that
advanced discrete choice models can be used to econometrically model these
interactive agency choices; applicants must be citizens or permanent
residents of Australia; 3 years @$26,000 pa.

TCI 'Connecting Clusters' Conference: Research Student Grants
The Competitiveness Institute (TCI), in conjunction with Clusters Asia
Pacific (CAP), are offering 20 grants to PhD and Masters research students
to attend the Connecting Clusters Conference, Cairns 9-11th October
2002. Applicants research must involve clusters, networks, regional
development or competitiveness The grant is valued at $900 and will be
deducted from the full registration fee of $1,425.00. The first 20
applicants that meet the criteria will receive scholarships.
