Postgraduate Scholarship in Ceramic-Metal Composite Materials
Open to candidate with a degree in the materials engineering field, 
preferably in metallurgy or ceramic engineering, to undertake research 
studies leading to an MER or Ph.D. in the field of composite materials; 
project involves fabrication and analysis of ceramic-metal functionally 
graded materials; $17,609 pa; applicants must be citizens or permanent 
residents of Australia.

Short-term Postgraduate Scholarship in Active Margin Geodynamics
Open to candidate to carry out research on the tectonic evolution of the 
Norfolk Basin and Three Kings Ridge along the eastern active margin of the 
Australian Plate; project involves the application of interpretation of 
marine seismic data using Geoquest software, and the integration of the 
results with potential field data, regional geological data and plate 
kinematic reconstructions; six months @ $6000; applicants must be citizens 
or permanent residents of Australia.
