Postgraduate Scholarship in Electrical Engineering
Open to candidate with a good BE degree in electrical engineering to
undertake research studies leading to an MER in Electrical Engineering; the
project is to design analogue VLSI continuous time filters using log-domain
building blocks; applicant should have interest in low-power analogue VLSI
circuits and experience in testing these; $17, 609 pa; applicants must be
citizens or permanent residents of Australia.

R J Chambers PhD Scholarship in Accounting
The R J Chambers Scholarship was established in 1990 to promote doctoral
research within the Discipline of Accounting and Business Law at the
University of Sydney; only students who are currently enrolled in a PhD in
the Discipline of Accounting and Business Law are eligible for the
scholarship; the scholarship is intended to assist PhD candidates to
complete their dissertation as quickly as possible; one year @ $15,000.

Dairy Research and Development Corporation Postgraduate Study Awards
For research degrees to PhD level; priority is given to research degrees
relevant to areas of major DRDC programs where there are shortages of
trained people; funding for 3 years full-time; $21,000 pa - $26,000 pa plus
operating support of $3,000 (2002 rate); will also consider supplementary
funding for applicants who have been awarded University scholarships at
levels below DRDC awards; for coursework degrees in extension and related
disciplines; applicants should have an established track record and be able
to demonstrate an ability to use the additional training for the benefit of
the Australian dairy industry.

Australian Business Foundation Roger Pysden Memorial Fellowship
The goal of the Fellowship is to assist in the development of a learning
culture in Australian manufacturing; applications are invited from
Australian's employed in - or whose study program focuses on - any aspect
of manufacturing; valued at $6,000; applicants must be citizens of
Australia; current and past employees of Australian Business Limited are
not eligible to apply.

American Museum of National History Graduate Students Fellowship Program
Partnership with selected universities; open to PhD candidates in those
scientific disciplines practiced at the Museum; university exercises
educational jurisdiction over the Program and awards the Degree; museum
curator serves as a graduate advisor, co-major professor and major
professor; covers stipend and health insurance for 1 year; renewable up to
4 years; not open for candidates for the Master's degree.

American Museum of National History International Graduate Students
Fellowship Program
Open to non U.S. citizens with a bachelor degree and be able to fulfill
university admission requirements to study biodiversity, conservation,
systematics and public policy; students are part of a joint
Museum-university program offering the PhD degree; students can choose from
the four major universities; students from developing nations are
encouraged to apply; covers travel assistance, stipend support for 12
months and tuition; renewable up to 4 years.

Society of Architectural Historians Edilia & Francois-Auguste de Montequin
Fellowship
This fellowship is to support the research of junior scholars, including
graduate students; research must focus on Spanish, Portuguese, or

ACIS-Cassamarca Scholarships
The Australasian Centre for Italian Studies (ACIS), in conjunction with the
Cassamarca Foundation, offering scholarships to students at Australian
universities who in 2003 will be enrolled, full-time or part-time, in
honours, research masters or PhD degrees and who will be engaged in
research projects in any of the following areas of Italian Studies; valued
at $7,500; scholarships will not be awarded to attend language courses in
Italy.
