Postgraduate Scholarship in Chinese Rural Economy
Open to suitably qualified candidates with interest in Chinese rural 
economy and sound quantitative analytical skills; MPhil project 
investigates the changing patterns of Chinese animal husbandry industries 
and their implications; experience/knowledge in animal husbandry industries 
would be an advantage; residency status should not require overseas student 
charges or else applicants should be prepared to pay charges themselves; 
maximum 2 years; $17,609pa.

Postgraduate Scholarship in the Key Centre for Polymer Colloids
Open to candidates with good honours degree in chemistry; PhD project 
investigates modelling of cross-linking systems in free-radical 
polymerization; must have background in theoretical chemistry and a 
knowledge of basic polymer science; must be citizens or permanent residents 
of Australia; renewable for up to 3 years; $22,771pa.

investigates the effect of pulsed water events on benthic communities; must 
be willing to conduct field work in South Australia; ability to SCUBA dive 
desirable; prefer candidate to begin studies in August 2002; must be 
citizens or permanent residents of Australia; renewable for up to 3 years;
