"Liberation and Tradition"

The theme is to be interpreted broadly and from the disciplines of philosophy, theology, Biblical studies, history, social sciences, literature and the arts. Liberation here includes the idea of freedom. The deadline for Proposals is 1 July, but there is some leeway. If by July 1st you can flag what you might do, then we can have some idea of numbers. The selection of papers will become a book with the conference title published by St. Pauls.

The Conference venue adheres to Government guidelines for safety during the Covid-19 pandemic. If, worst case scenario, there is a major second wave of the virus between now and before the conference, there are options, either with Zoom live or pre-recorded talks by presenters being uploaded to a Conference website.

Please circulate this email through other networks if you can.

The conference specifically aims to foster interaction between scholars in the universities and scholars in theological colleges. It also encourages young scholars.
