Greetings,

The Department of Cognitive Science at Macquarie University is hosting our
annual Memory Day workshop on *Wednesday, December 11* and *Thursday,
December 12*. This year the workshop will be dedicated to themes of
memory, aging, and intervention research. Day 1 of the workshop (11/12)
will be focused around a theme of “Memory, Cognition, and Collaboration in
Aging,” while Day 2 (12/12) will consist of two separate themed sessions:
“Memory Intervention: Translating from the Lab to the Wild” as well as the
broader themed “Social and Autobiographical Memory”. We have assembled an
internationally-acclaimed group of speakers, including *David
Balota*(Washington University in St. Louis), *Amanda
Barnier* (Macquarie University), *Janet Duchek* (Washington University in
St. Louis), *Michael Fine* (Macquarie University), *Michelle
Meade*(Montana State University), and *Elaine
Reese* (University of Otago). In addition to the two days of the workshop
itself, there will also be a public lecture provided by David Balota on the
evening of Wednesday, December 11, moderated by *Lynne Malcolm* from ABC’s
radio program “All in the Mind”. You can register for the workshop and the
public lecture online through the Cognitive Science website:
