Dear Richard,

As Australia prepares for its association to Horizon Europe from 2027, new opportunities are opening up for Australian researchers to strengthen collaboration with European partners and engage more deeply with Europe's flagship research and innovation program.

A recent survey of the Australian research and higher education community shows strong interest - but also a clear demand for practical guidance: 84% of respondents want more information on eligibility rules, 79% on what Australia's association will mean in practice, and 67% on Pillar II funding opportunities.

To help Australian universities, research organisations and researchers prepare, Science & Technology Australia in partnership with the Embassy of France in Australia is pleased to invite you to a webinar.

With contributions from the Delegation of the European Union to Australia, EURAXESS Australia & New Zealand, CNRS Office Oceania, AFRAN and other experts, the webinar will provide practical insights into Pillar II opportunities, eligibility and funding rules, finding the right opportunities, and building European consortia and partnerships.

We will also look beyond Pillar II to highlight opportunities for Australian researchers through the European Research Council (ERC) and Marie Sk?dowska-Curie Actions (MSCA).

Whether you are already collaborating with Europe or exploring Horizon Europe for the first time, join us to understand what Australia's association will mean in practice, and how to prepare for 2027.
