Opportunity: SKA Strategy & Partnerships Program Director (CSIRO)

CSIRO is seeking an outstanding leader to join the Space & Astronomy leadership team as SKA Strategy & Partnerships Program Director, providing leadership for Australia's participation in the Square Kilometre Array (SKA) project, one of the world's largest international scientific research infrastructures. The role leads strategic partnerships, governance, stakeholder engagement and national coordination to maximise the scientific, economic and societal value of Australia's investment in the SKA project.

The position is based in Perth, Western Australia, with a negotiable salary package, relocation assistance available, and visa sponsorship considered for suitable international candidates. The appointment is for a 5-year specified term and reports to the Space & Astronomy Director.

We welcome interest from senior leaders with experience in major research infrastructure, government engagement, international partnerships, scientific programs or large-scale collaborative initiatives. Astronomy experience is desirable but not essential.
