[ASA] 2dFdr Python workshop at Macquarie

We are planning a 2dFdr Python workshop to be held on September 10 (11 am to 5 pm) and 11 (10 am to 4 pm) 2026, in person, at Macquarie University, Sydney.


Topics to be covered at the Python workshop

- Overview of recent 2dFdr Python work (see https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/NyXoC3QNPBixpQQJwugfZNhQEgq2?domain=twodfdr.aao.org.au).

- Python notebooks to reduce 2dF-AAOmega and KOALA sample data

- Developer guide on how to contribute to 2dFdr

- Hands on support to run 2dFdr to reduce your 2dF data (including KOALA)

- Funding and coordinating future 2dFdr development
