[ASA] Call for nominations to the AAL Astronomy–Space Coordinating Committee

Dear colleagues,

AAL is seeking nominations from members of the astronomy community to serve on the Astronomy–Space Coordinating Committee (ASCC). There are two positions available to commence immediately, with appointments made by the AAL Board. Please see the attached document for a detailed description of the role.

The ASCC has been established to strengthen Australia’s engagement in space-based astronomy and to help shape future opportunities, including access to facilities, technology development, and international partnerships. The Committee will also provide advice on the implementation of the space engagement priorities outlined in the Astronomy Decadal Plan 2026-2035.

We are keen to bring in new perspectives from across academia, industry, and government. If you are interested in contributing to this important work, we would warmly encourage you to get involved.
