Dear all,

We're thrilled to announce that registrations and abstract submissions are now open for the OzFink workshop: Seconds to Discovery - Rubin's Alert Era Begins at Swinburne University, November 10-12! https://url.au.m.mimecastprotect.com/s/hICyC2xMQzi8D4yKjInf5t5rC1d?domain=indico.in2p3.fr

This workshop will bring together researchers in time-domain astronomy and the Fink broker community. Join us as we dive into the first publicly available Rubin LSST data through Fink and build the practical skills that will drive scientific breakthroughs over the next decade.

Abstract submissions are now live with a deadline of October 15th (midnight AEDT). We're excited to explore topics including: early science with Rubin and Fink, tutorials on accessing and filtering Rubin alerts, synergies with other facilities and collaborative sessions to develop custom detection algorithms for variable and transient phenomena.

There will be no registration fee thanks to the support of OzGrav. While this will be an in-person gathering, we're committed to making all materials available online for the broader community.

We look forward to seeing you at the workshop! Any questions please contact us at contact at fink-broker.org<mailto:contact at fink-broker.org> or amoller at swin.edu.au<mailto:amoller at swin.edu.au>

Sincerely,

The Scientific Organizing Committee
