[ASA] PhD Opportunity: Global PhD Position in GECKOS Dust Research (NTHU & Macquarie University)

We are seeking applications for a Global PhD position jointly offered by National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan, and Macquarie University (MQ), Australia to study dust in GECKOS (Generalising Edge-on galaxies and their Chemical modalities, Kinematics, and Outflows to Solar environments) galaxies.
This PhD project is based on the GECKOS survey, which provides ESO/MUSE integral field spectroscopy of 35 edge-on galaxies. The project will leverage complementary Spitzer infrared data to map the emission from dust heated by stars.
