We are seeking applications for a <b>Global PhD position</b> jointly offered by National Tsing Hua University (NTHU), Taiwan, and Macquarie University (MQ), Australia to study dust in GECKOS (Generalising Edge-on galaxies and their Chemical modalities, Kinematics,
 and Outflows to Solar environments) galaxies.</div>

This PhD project is based on the GECKOS survey, which provides ESO/MUSE integral field spectroscopy of 35 edge-on galaxies. The project will leverage complementary Spitzer infrared data to map the emission from dust heated by stars.</div>
